My Joy is spun from the finest grade of baby alpaca – it simply doesn’t get any softer than this. 

My Joy is made from 100% natural materials and it is ideal for those who wish to add a touch of cotton to their knits — making the finished garment less warm but still delightfully soft and cozy.

Due to the cotton content, My Joy produces a firm and even texture.  The yarn almost resembles a blend of cashmere and silk — smooth, soft, and with an elegant drape thanks to its slightly increased weight.

My Joy is perfect for babies and anyone with sensitive skin. It’s also an eco-conscious and economical choice: the yarn goes further than traditionally spun yarns of similar composition, meaning fewer skeins are needed for the same high-quality result — without compromising on luxury.

Specifications:

• Fibre content: 55% baby alpaca, 10% merino wool, and 35% organic cotton
• Yardage: 50 g = 110 m (120 yds)
• Recommended needle size: 4.5–6/7 mm (US 7–10.5)
• Gauge: 12–16 stitches = 10 cm / 4" in stockinette stitch
• Care instructions: Hand wash at 20–25 °C (68–77 °F) using an enzyme-free wool detergent. Lay flat to dry, shape while damp, and allow to air dry completely. Always refer to the washing instructions on the yarn label.
