Serafina* is the new name of an old project, Maçãs d'Amor, I started back in 2006 with a little blog created to show and sell handmade bags and bed covers I made with fabrics I bought while traveling. Sewing and knitting have become the basis for the shop and this year I have started a new project, thanks to the collaboration with Ioana van Deurzen and her wonderful yarns I was able to create a palette of natural colors and introduce the first batch of hand dyed yarns by Serafina.
The Studio is located in the Algarve, just outside Loulé and the shop sells exclusively online.
*Serafina is the name of an ancient wool fabric used to line the insides of clothing.
